This is one of the new and cheap options that allows you to enjoy the walk at your own pace but already having your lodging and food ready (and they do not need to bring a sleeping bag because all the accommodations have covers or blankets)

In this service you do not have a Guide and also in this service you do not have horses or mules to transport your things……. for this reason you do not need to carry many things for the whole trek only what is necessary because you have to take them.

for your accommodation you have 2 options: the shared dormitories and the sky lodges these options are only for the first camp because for the second camp they are accommodations with 2 or 3 beds

We recommend you arrive first at the sky lodge for your accommodation and rest and enjoy the wonderful view that the place has and then make your lunch and then you can go up to the Humantay lagoon when all the groups of the 1-day visit to the lagoon leave and you can visit without many people

We start this service very early with the pick up from your hotels between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. if they are easy to locate hotels and if you are in apartments, the meeting point is in the main square of Cusco at 4:30 a.m. Then we continue with our transport for 2 hours until we reach the town of Mollepata where they will have breakfast and then continue for 1 more hour to the community of Soraypampa bus station where they will begin their walk for approximately 40 minutes to reach Salkantay Sky Lodge Peru where They will make their accommodation and enjoy the landscape and they will also have their lunch included with their coca tea

And after your lunch and rest in the afternoon you can go up to the Humantay lagoon… (because in the afternoon there are not many people compared to the day when there are many people because it is a very famous lagoon for 1-day tours. …and when these tourists from the 1 day tours of the lagoon return to Cusco you will be able to go up to the humantay lagoon, the normal time to go up the lagoon is 1 hour and 30 minutes and the time to go down to return to the sky lodge is the 1 hour 30 minutes or less….
